Mitra is the deity of friendship and of agreements kept, and the lotus grows in water that is not clean. Put together, Anuradha is about devotion that survives difficult conditions, and about the specific competence of maintaining a relationship over years rather than beginning one well.
Saturn rules it, which is why the loyalty here is durable rather than sentimental. This is the division most associated with working alongside others successfully. The failure mode is subtler than in most: the person can stay too long, mistaking endurance for virtue, and will often be the last to notice that a friendship or an arrangement has quietly become one-sided.
